Equality before the law
Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act of 2025
The bill broadens fuel options and restores compliance assets for eligible small refineries—reducing industry uncertainty and supporting some businesses—while raising risks of worse local air quality, shifting compliance costs in fuel markets, and reducing procedural transparency.
PI Post Acute Access Act
Educational Choice for Children Act of 2025
The bill expands privately funded K–12 scholarship access and creates strong tax incentives and legal protections for parental choice (including religious schools), but does so at the cost of federal revenue, increased administrative complexity, and reduced public oversight that could divert resources and protections away from public schools and the neediest students.
Trump Accounts for All Generations Act
To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow a credit against tax for charitable donations to nonprofit organizations providing education scholarships to qualified elementary and secondary students.
The bill expands tax-advantaged scholarships and legal protections for private and religious K–12 school choice—benefiting low- and moderate-income families and incenting donors—while reducing federal revenue and raising risks to public-school funding, oversight, and equity.
Small Business Dependent Care FSA Opportunity Act
The bill makes dependent care more affordable for working families by giving small employers a temporary, administratively simple tax credit to start employer-sponsored dependent-care FSAs, but the credit is time-limited, capped, nonrefundable for some, and excludes certain employers, limiting its long-term and universal effectiveness.
SOS: Sustaining Outpatient Services Act
The bill simplifies and consolidates payment/billing for certain off‑campus outpatient services—helping hospitals and reducing provider paperwork and patient billing confusion—but shifts costs toward Medicare and patients and can reduce physician fee‑schedule revenue while creating uncertainty for small specialties.
Access to Genetic Counselor Services Act of 2025
The bill expands Medicare coverage and direct billing for genetic counselors—improving access to genetic counseling—while imposing coinsurance and payment limits that may raise out‑of‑pocket costs and risk reduced provider participation and fewer procedural protections for beneficiaries.
Critical Access Hospital Relief Act of 2025
Removing the 96-hour separate physician certification for critical access hospitals reduces administrative barriers and speeds admissions for beneficiaries and rural hospitals, but risks higher Medicare costs and the loss of a clinical oversight checkpoint.
Ethanol for America Act of 2025
The bill reduces near-term compliance costs and regulatory uncertainty for many fuel retailers and encourages E100-ready infrastructure, but it raises safety and environmental risks for communities and shifts some costs and liabilities onto owners and nearby residents.
