Hard work conquers all things
Stop Illegal Entry Act of 2025
The bill increases penalties and centralizes immigration enforcement to deter repeat unlawful reentry and enable tougher prosecutions, but does so by expanding criminal exposure, reducing judicial discretion, raising detention and fiscal costs, and concentrating charging power in DHS with attendant politicization and coordination risks.
Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Department of Energy relating to "Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Walk-In Coolers and Walk-In Freezers".
To direct the Librarian of Congress to promote the more cost-effective, efficient, and expanded availability of the Annotated Constitution and pocket-part supplements by replacing the hardbound versions with digital versions.
The bill modernizes distribution of the Annotated Constitution—saving taxpayer money and expanding free online access—while shifting access burdens to those without reliable internet and transferring ongoing preservation and maintenance costs to the Library of Congress, which may reduce availability of free print copies for some institutions.
Training Rural Law Enforcement Officers Act of 2026
Protecting Families from Fertility Fraud Act of 2026
Workforce and Education Partnership Act of 2026
The bill strengthens employer-aligned workforce training—boosting job readiness and potential earnings and improving local coordination—but may require public funding, risk unequal access for rural/smaller providers, and narrow broader educational goals.
Stop Illegal Reentry Act
The bill centralizes immigration-admission authority and clarifies/removes ambiguity about prior removals to strengthen deterrence and prosecutorial consistency, but does so by raising penalties and concentrating executive discretion — increasing incarceration and costs and risking harsher, potentially unexpected punishments for some noncitizens.
STEADFAST Act
This bill redirects public campaign funds into a dedicated Election Security Fund to strengthen election infrastructure and simplify taxpayer support, at the cost of ending public matching funds for presidential campaigns and reducing taxpayer choice and some transparency over how those dollars are used.
Turn It Down Act
The bill would make online video ads subject to broadcast-like loudness rules to protect viewers from sudden loud commercials, while imposing compliance costs and creating potential enforcement and regulatory strain for platforms, creators, and the FCC.
Agriculture and National Security Act of 2026
The bill strengthens federal focus and USDA capacity to identify and coordinate responses to food and agriculture security threats, but it relies largely on administrative steps without guaranteed funding and raises trade, cost, privacy, and transparency concerns.
