This resolution recognizes the importance of engaging Latino communities in outdoor activities and conservation. It supports setting the third week of September as “Latino Conservation Week,” encouraging people to enjoy nature and help protect the nation’s natural resources .
It does not change any laws. It simply shows support and raises awareness so more families feel welcome outdoors and take part in caring for parks, rivers, and other public lands .
