Requires states that receive the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) block grant to spend at least 25% of that grant on work‑related supports and services. These services are intended to help adults prepare for, find, and keep employment.
The requirement begins on October 1, 2026. It does not add new funding, but it changes how states must use existing TANF dollars, shifting a minimum share toward employment supports.
Referred to the House Committee on Ways and Means.
