Expands membership of the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council to include Rhode Island. This gives Rhode Island a direct voice and vote in setting fishing rules for species managed by the Mid-Atlantic Council.
The change does not create new spending, taxes, or programs. It adjusts representation so Rhode Island can participate in decisions that affect its commercial and recreational fisheries and coastal communities.
