Directs the Administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration to complete a study within one year on the benefits and challenges of deploying AI-enabled sensors at rail crossings to reduce pedestrian and vehicle accidents. The study must review existing pilots and deployments, perform a cost–benefit analysis, identify best practices, and the FRA must publish the study results and recommendations on the FRA Office of Railroad Safety website within 30 days after the study is finished.
