Directly condemns the assassination attempts against President Donald J. Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania (July 13, 2024) and West Palm Beach, Florida (September 15, 2024), honors the people killed or injured, and thanks law enforcement, first responders, and medical personnel for their response. It affirms the protective role of the U.S. Secret Service and calls on all U.S. citizens to oppose political violence and those who incite it.
