Recognizes the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community as rapidly growing and diverse and calls attention to serious gaps in mental health care access and outcomes for that community. The resolution highlights low treatment rates, the high suicide burden among AANHPI youth, and urges better data disaggregation, language access, culturally and linguistically appropriate services, workforce expansion and training (including paraprofessionals), trauma response to discrimination and racial violence, and increased mental health literacy and destigmatization.
