This bill tells the U.S. Postal Service to give certain towns and areas their own single, unique ZIP Code. USPS must make these updates within 270 days after the law takes effect.
It covers many communities across the country, including places in California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, New York, Texas, and Wisconsin. Examples include Canyon Lake, CA; Highlands Ranch, CO; Oakland Park, FL; Zionsville, IN; Flanders, NY; Fairview, TX; and the Village of Mount Pleasant, WI.
