Referred to the House Committee on Education and Workforce.
Introduced February 6, 2025 by Marie Gluesenkamp Perez · Last progress February 6, 2025
Requires colleges and universities to give every admitted undergraduate and graduate student either a multi-year tuition-and-fees schedule or a one-year schedule plus a nonbinding multi-year net‑cost estimate. The law sets formatting rules (year‑by‑year costs for a normal program length), allows institutions to show multi‑year changes as a percentage or dollar amount, requires disclosure of past average deviations when using single‑year schedules, and lets the Secretary of Education grant temporary waivers for institutions in severe economic distress.
