Updates Medicare’s annual wellness visit so it covers new screening topics (including social needs and balance/fall risk), allows additional types of providers to furnish the visit, and creates a 10% incentive payment when required elements are delivered. The bill also requires education and outreach, permits the visit via telehealth, directs new guidance and research (reports and focus groups), and authorizes funding to support outreach and research. Several changes take effect on or after January 1, 2026, and other actions must be completed within 6 or 12 months of enactment.
