Proud to visit Stepping Stone, which specializes in LGBTQ+-affirming treatment for substance use disorder, mental health services, and transitional housing. When it was founded in 1976, most treatment programs turned away LGBTQ+ people or asked them to closet themselves.

Last week, I helped pack backpacks with school supplies with Home Start, a local non-profit focused on helping kids grow up in safe and stable homes across San Diego County. Every kid deserves to have everything they need to thrive in school and beyond.
