Prohibits colleges and universities that participate in federal student aid programs from authorizing, funding, or otherwise supporting campus events that promote antisemitism. It ties institutional compliance to eligibility for federal Title IV aid. Uses the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism (adopted May 26, 2016) to determine what counts as “antisemitism.” Schools would need policies and review processes to ensure events they back or approve do not meet that definition, or risk federal noncompliance.
The institution will not authorize, facilitate, provide funding for, or otherwise support any event promoting antisemitism on campus.
Defines the term “antisemitism” to mean the working definition of antisemitism adopted by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance on May 26, 2016, including the contemporary examples cited by the Alliance.
