To prohibit natural asset companies from entering into any agreement with respect to land in the State of Utah or natural assets on or in land in the State of Utah.

This bill would ban “natural asset companies” from making any kind of agreement involving land in Utah, or the natural resources and environmental benefits on or under that land. A “natural asset company” is defined as a corporation (or similar organization) that holds rights to the ecological performance of an area and manages it for conservation, restoration, or sustainable use.
