Prohibits knowingly distributing materially deceptive AI-generated audio or visual media about a candidate for Federal office when that media is used for Federal election activity or to solicit funds. It defines covered terms, creates narrow exceptions for bona fide news, disclosed corrections by regular news outlets, and parody/satire, and gives covered candidates a civil cause of action for injunctions, damages, and attorney’s fees with a clear-and-convincing evidence standard.
