Referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary.

This proposal would add a rule to the U.S. Constitution that the Supreme Court must always have nine justices. It does not describe any other changes. In plain terms, it would lock the Court’s size at nine, instead of letting it be changed by regular laws in the future (as described in the resolution’s text) .
| Who is affected | What changes | When |
|---|---|---|
| The Supreme Court and, indirectly, the public | The Constitution would require exactly nine justices | If adopted; the text does not list a date |
