Expresses support for creating an annual Gold Star Families Remembrance Week to honor and recognize families who lost a loved one serving in the U.S. Armed Forces and families of veterans. It calls on Americans to observe the week through acts of service and by celebrating the lives of those who died in service.
The measure is a nonbinding expression of recognition and encouragement; it does not authorize spending, create new programs, or impose requirements on federal, state, or local governments.
