Designates support for recognizing June 26 as "LGBTQI+ Equality Day," affirms the House’s support for equal rights and protections regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or sex characteristics, and encourages public education and celebration of key Supreme Court decisions on LGBTQI+ rights. It also calls for additional laws to address discrimination in employment, housing, education, jury service, and other areas, while noting that litigation alone has not eliminated barriers faced by LGBTQI+ people — especially transgender people and LGBTQI+ people of color.
Referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary.
