Designates May 5–9, 2025, as Teacher Appreciation Week to honor the Nation’s roughly 3,000,000 public school teachers, highlights findings about teachers’ central role and concerns about morale, and praises their efforts to improve student learning. The resolution also urges Federal, State, and local leaders to include public school teachers in education policymaking and to consult teachers directly so policies better reflect classroom needs.
