Affirms that the federal government should support public K–12 schools, students, families, and educators and recognizes the Department of Education’s ongoing role in running programs, enforcing civil rights, and doing research and oversight. Expressly opposes diverting federal K–12 education funding to private school vouchers and rejects claims that the executive branch may dismantle, relocate, or shift federal education funding away from the Department of Education.
